Advanced Reader Review: Book Spotlight: Bound by the Nexus by L. M. Baldassano My best friend wrote this book, and it is absolute magic. It’s the perfect blend of real life, a journey through grief and rebirth, and a town that we both love so much and have visited together many times—Jim Thorpe, also known as Mauch Chunk, the PA Swiss Alps. She has a way of writing that gives you just enough detail: not too much, not too little, but intricate enough that the movie in your head becomes so real you fall right into it. It lets you step out of reality and go straight into the book, which is exactly what a good book should do. The storyline is wonderful, and you can watch the characters authentically grow—and in a sense, you’re growing right along with them, too! Especially for someone like me who is a witch and can see parts of my own journey reflected in the storyline. Go get the book! Honestly, I think we should start a book club.
